About RADIANT-CERSI

RADIANT is one of seven national Centre of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation in human health. RADIANT CERSI focuses on advancing regulatory science and innovation in digital health and artificial intelligence in healthcare (AI). It is funded by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the Medical Research Council, Innovate UK and the Office for Life Sciences. RADIANT aims to make Software and AI as medical device (S/AIaMD) safer, more trusted, inclusive, and sustainable, with a particular focus and USP on outreach to innovators and in helping them to navigate complex and dynamic regulatory frameworks. It also seeks to address critical challenges in this rapidly-evolving field by fostering collaboration between innovators, regulators, academic researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers. RADIANT aims to create a sustainable network that drives knowledge exchange, develops best practices, and facilitates the responsible integration of AI technologies into healthcare systems.
