This is an exciting opportunity to join the Faculty of Life Sciences Research Impact Team. We are seeking a person with administrative skills and experience to help with the development of policy-related impact case studies for submission to the Research Excellence Framework 2028.

About the role

The main purpose of this position is to work with FLS academics to develop their policy-related impact case studies. You will work with Divisional Impact Leads in the Divisions of Pharmacy and Biological Sciences and the Eastman Dental Institute to gather evidence of research impact and you will engage with external stakeholders to measure the significance and reach of our research impact.

This is a fixed-term, part-time, Grade 7 role until 31st July 2026.

This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 50% on site in the School of Pharmacy.

This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require right to work in the UK to carry out this role.

About you

The successful applicant will work with academics to develop evidence of the national and international impact of their research. The appointee will have experience and knowledge of the Life Sciences and will be capable of building relationships with external stakeholders, policymakers and the public. Experience of impact-related administration is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.
