The Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to manage the NIHR School for Public Health Research (SPHR) academic research training and development programme. The post holder works across organisational and professional boundaries, strengthening capacity building and training in SPHR.
The Training Manager coordinates a variety of training opportunities for researchers at all levels, from undergraduate interns to post-doctoral fellows and early career researchers to support the next generation of researchers in public health.
Educated to degree level, you will have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a range of different stakeholders and at different levels. You will have experience of event organisation and workshop development, using your initiative and managing projects to defined deliverables and meeting audit and reporting requirements.
This role is offered on a full-time basis (requests for part time >0.8fte will be considered) and is fixed term to March 2029.
