Who we need
We are looking for an innovative Lecturer for delivery within our Supported Learning department to deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching and learning for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will have experience of teaching, learning and assessment within a SEND setting, ideally further educational. You will inspire and motivate learners, placing their individual needs, aspirations and wellbeing at the heart of all practice, while supporting them to achieve positive personal, social and educational outcomes.
You will have knowledge and understanding of working with school leavers and young adults from 16 to 24 years of age, and be able to evidence your achievements with this cohort. You will be dedicated, enthusiastic and innovative, with a passion for joining our outstanding faculty area.
The successful applicant will be able to deliver accredited qualifications at Pre-Entry to Level 1, which may include Functional Skills Maths & English. You will be professional, responsible and confident lecturer who has the skills to inspire both students and colleagues alike, and the ability to innovatively create and deliver and achieve for our young people.
