Applications are invited for the above 0.5 fte fixed term position for a Project Manager based in the School of Arts, Language and Culture at Bangor University. This position is funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and is available from 1 March 2026 to contract end date of 28 February 2030.
We are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated postdoctoral researcher who is passionate about working alongside a group of motivated PhD students and supervisors to serve as Project Manager.
Educated to PhD standard in a related subject or possessing equivalent professional research or industry experience, the Project Manager will play a central role in the Bangor University’s management and coordination of the EU ARTHURS project encompassing the project’s administration, legal, financial, communication and organisational aspects.
The successful candidate will be expected to commence in post from the 1st March 2026.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
