The Role
The Career Support Officer and Office Administrator plays a critical role in not only maintaining the office but building mutual beneficial, lifelong relationships with alumni and supporters. The role holder will take the lead in building a program to support the Careers Tutor in delivering a careers service that leverages the involvement of the College’s alumni community to complement the service offered by the University Careers Service.
In addition, the postholder is a pivotal member of the Development Office team, providing administrative support to the Development Director and other team members across a wide range of development activities including fundraising and events. The post holder is also the first point of contact for general enquiries via email and phone and underpins the smooth running of the office.
The hours of work for this role will be 21.75 to 29 per week (0.6 - 0.8 FTE). This is a fixed term contract for two years.

Salary and Benefits
Remuneration will be between £28,000 and £30,000 pro rata depending on experience. There will be a six- month probationary period. The role holder will be eligible to join the College’s contributory pension scheme after three months’ service. Lunch is available.
