The University of Oxford is a stimulating work environment, which enjoys an international reputation as a world-class centre of excellence. Our research plays a key role in tackling many global challenges, from reducing our carbon emissions to developing vaccines during a pandemic.

The Social Sciences Division at the University of Oxford is seeking a motivated and creative Research Communications Assistant to join our Research, Impact and Engagement (RIE) Team. This part-time (0.4 - 0.5 FTE) role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong writing skills, an eye for detail, and an interest in social sciences research and its impact on the world.

About the Role

Reporting to the Research Communications Officer and working as part of a dynamic and collaborative team, you will help raise the profile of the Division’s research by developing engaging content for a range of audiences and channels. • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders
