The Finance Division plays a vital role in managing the University's resources, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting decision-making across all departments. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our Order to Cash team and help improve the University's aged debt position and overall cash flow.
The Role
In this role, you will take responsibility for managing designated non-research debts, ensuring timely income collection, and maintaining accurate customer records. You will work closely with up to 160 University institutions as well as external customers, using a range of communication methods to resolve overdue accounts and escalate problem debts where necessary. You will also provide a central service for customer account set-up and maintenance, supporting data integrity within the finance system.

Your Skills
You will have experience in credit control and working within a financial environment, with strong IT skills (including Microsoft Office) and familiarity with accounting systems, ideally Oracle. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines are essential.

The University is supportive of hybrid working, where some work is undertaken on University premises and some in a remote working environment. This arrangement is subject to change and will not form a part of the contractual terms of the role.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 July 2027 in the first instance.
