We’re looking for a full-time Head of Product Marketing, to join us on a Fixed Term Contract (covering maternity leave). This role adopts a hybrid approach - spending some time from home and in our Woking office at least one day per week.

Leading a team of marketing professionals, you will lead and manage comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns aimed at attracting and engaging prospective students to the University across the Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Professional Development programme portfolio from the UK and internationally.

This role combines marketing expertise with a deep understanding of student recruitment trends and challenges. Therefore, the successful candidate will have experience working in a HE environment and significant experience of product marketing, having built and delivered multi-platform plans.

As our Head of Product Marketing, you will be working collaboratively with a number of key student recruitment departments internally and externally to drive student applications and enrolment across the whole student journey, the successful candidate will combine data, insights and market research, marketing strategy, planning and delivery, digital marketing, branding and internal event marketing delivery to ultimately help the institution achieve its recruitment goals.

Strategic Planning and Leadership:

  • Develop and implement the overall student recruitment marketing strategy
  • Lead the creation of multi-channel marketing student recruitment campaigns
  • Set clear goals, KPIs, and metrics for student recruitment

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead and manage the student recruitment marketing team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure the team’s success.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovation and new ideas for recruitment strategies

Digital Marketing and Engagement

  • Lead the digital recruitment marketing efforts, including PPC, social media, email marketing media strategies across all key student recruitment campaign
  • Oversee the creation of engaging, student-focused marketing recruitment content, including videos, blogs, testimonials and social media posts that resonate with prospective students

Is this you?:

  • Proven experience in planning, managing and delivering product marketing campaigns working across the whole marketing mix and throughout the whole customer journey including online and offline strategic marketing plans.
  • Exemplary communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally
  • Excellent level of business understanding and acumen
  • Results-driven and be capable of managing budgets, stakeholders and strategic campaigns
