We are seeking a motivated Technician to join Dr Hall’s dynamic research team at the University of Kent. The post is funded by a recently awarded Wellcome trust fungal adaptation grant to understand how fungi belonging to the Mucorales order of fungi adapt to natural environments. In this role you will provide essential support and working technical knowledge to help solve problems independently, maintaining the working environment and raising any complex issues with more senior staff. This role will include providing inductions, training and demonstrations of specialist techniques ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines to staff, students and external stakeholders.
