The new Department of Media, Culture and Creative Industries draws together academic staff specialising in Advertising, Creative Writing, Cultural and Creative Industries, English, Media and Communications, Marketing Communication, Media Management, Media Production, Publishing, PR and Strategic Communication. Candidates should be able to teach and design modules in a way that is industry-focused. Specifically, the successful candidate will be able to teach most or all of the following modules from our BA Communication, PR and Advertising and our MA Fashion Marketing and Strategic Communications, MA Public Relations and Strategic Communications and MA Marketing Communications degrees:
The successful applicant will have a good first degree (Communication, Media, Marketing, Public Relations, Fashion or a related field) and industry-derived expertise related to Fashion Marketing and Strategic Communication.
