Employability Data & Systems Manager (part-time 0.8 FTE).

Having effective systems and data analysis is crucial to almost everything the University’s Careers & Employability Service does which is why this role is so important to us. Colleagues across the Service rely on the provision of accurate data, and on the stability of our careers service systems, online tools and web content, to be able to shape and deliver the services our students need.

In this key role, offered as a 0.8 FTE permanent contract, you will manage one data analyst and a systems and website specialist. Leaders within the Service will rely on you and your team’s expertise, and in return you will gain from being part of an experienced team of managers and colleagues, both in the careers team and across the university, where other data and systems experts also provide a peer community of support and expertise.

We’re seeking SQL skills to access and manipulate data, and the ability to present compelling data visualisations, dashboards and reports, using tools such as PowerBI or Tableau. As you’ll also manage our systems lead, you’ll work with the university’s central IT Services team to manage supplier relationships and explore enhancements to the systems and tools we use. The team needs a positive and supportive manager, and the careers and employability leadership group needs a data and systems specialist to help inform what we do and support our shared ambition to provide the very best support and guidance to our students and graduates. This role will be pivotal.
