Do you enjoy providing an exceptional front of house service? Do you have a passion for student employability? Do you have the skills needed to build and maintain positive relationships? The University’s Careers & Employability Service is seeking a well organised and flexible First Contact Administrator.
The role will involve supporting students and graduates in their search for part-time work and other work experience both on and off campus, assisting internal colleagues with the recruitment of student casual workers; and working with external employers to promote our services and increase the volume of opportunities available to University of Sheffield students.
You will be required to liaise and build relationships with key stakeholders providing a professional image of the University and our department and a seamless experience for recruiters whether internal or external. The team works in a busy student facing space at the heart of campus and as a result the ideal candidate must be able to prioritise tasks and work efficiently yet accurately. You will have excellent administration and communication skills as well as a student-centred approach to working in a fast paced and changing work environment. Ideally having experience or a keen interest in recruitment and student employment, with excellent customer service and data processing skills, candidates should enjoy working both independently and as part of a small team.
