As a Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management you will have a focus on providing high-quality learning and teaching that is underpinned by scholarly activity. We are keen to receive applications from people who will enhance our delivery of and reputation in Operations and Supply Chain Management and related subject areas. Applicants hold a relevant doctoral qualification, ideally in the Operations and Supply Chain Management subject area. Applicants are able to demonstrate significant recent experience of both research, as well as teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, within the UK education context. Track record of Publications, Income generation and Industry experience will be considered an advantage.

Lecturers are expected to contribute to the delivery and assessment of existing modules, supervision, and the enhancement of the student experience across the range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes such as our BA (Hons) Business Management, MSc International Operations & Supply Chain Management, and MSc International Business Management. Prior experience of supporting student learning, teaching and assessment in the UK higher education sector is essential.

The Department of Management promotes innovation in learning and teaching and, therefore, we are keen to appoint an individual with up-to-date experience of enhancing and enriching the learning experience. A higher education teaching qualification and/or Fellow status with AdvanceHE is desirable. The post holders will also be expected to contribute to ensuring curricula are current and compliant with internal and external regulatory frameworks.
