About the Role
For informal enquiries, please contact Jonathon Crowley (Head of Strategic Vendor Manager) at jonathon.crowley@warwick.ac.uk.
This is an opportunity to work at the heart of Digital Transformation in Warwick. You will gain exposure to innovative projects and vendors across technology and IT service delivery, while developing your contract and vendor management expertise in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Contract Manager to join the Business Engagement Team within the Information & Digital Group. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving cost-management, vendor quality and vendor relationship management in IDG.
This hands-on role requires attention to detail, procurement/contract expertise, excellent organisational skills, strong communication, and the ability to manage tasks and timelines across multiple vendors. You will support stakeholder engagement and strategic outcomes that will help shape the University’s digital future.
About You
You will be an organised and motivated individual with experience in contract and vendor management, ideally within a digital or IT environment. Comfortable managing multiple workstreams, you will bring strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise effectively while working to tight deadlines. You’ll be someone who understands the importance of precision in procurement. You will be confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of contract management, vendor management, cost management, and underpin these with good project management skills.
You will be proficient in using digital tools including Microsoft Office, MS Project, SAP, Opera and ideally Jira, Miro and other Microsoft Suite tools. An interest in emerging technologies, including AI, and a willingness to quickly develop knowledge in this space will be key. Ideally, you will be working in higher education service contract management initiatives.
Above all, you will be curious, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development, ready to contribute to the University’s digital transformation journey.
