About the Role
The People Team at the University of Warwick are looking to appoint a People Data Performance and Insights Manager to lead on the creation and delivery of the People Operations operational scorecard, KPI framework, and all daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting that enables evidence-based HR decisions.
The role holder will design and develop a dynamic evidence-based RAG rated dashboard, investigate drivers of operational performance, and translate data into actionable insights for People Partners, senior HR leaders, and stakeholders across the University.
The appointee will support with the creation of the People Operations data and technology roadmap, including data governance, data storage, permissions, reporting standards, and the introduction of new IT enabling technologies, automation, and AI. They will scope and shape future systems and contribute to business requirements gathering for case management, document management, service ticketing and future smart recruitment and engagement solutions.
The People Data Performance and Insights Manager will manage an Operations Data Analyst, to be hired by the postholder, and ensure high-quality and timely delivery of insight products across the People Function.

About you
The ideal candidate will bring a strong working knowledge of KPIs and operational metrics, people data, financial budgets, analytics, developing and manipulating large datasets and insight report generation. They will have proven experience designing and delivering operational dashboards for Human Resources, scorecards, KPIs and RAG reporting frameworks and have advanced Excel, MS Power BI skills, combined with experience with SuccessFactors, SAP and service ticketing solutions.
You will have the ability to analyse data across multiple operational systems and translate into clear actionable business recommendations, using excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, at all levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance, security, permissions, and GDPR, and how this will translate into the dashboards and modelling created, from the ground up.
You will evidence the ability to build and lead a team, set priorities and manage performance.
