About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Research Associate to join an interdisciplinary research programme investigating cellular and molecular interactions between human neurons and Schwann cells in peripheral nerve myelination, neurodegeneration and repair. This exciting position is based primarily at the Blizard Institute with significant collaborative work at the Brain Repair Centre, University of Cambridge.
About You
Applicants should have a PhD in neuroscience, cell biology, stem cell biology, or a closely related discipline, with ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across institutions. They should have experience working with mammalian primary and human induced pluripotent stem cell–derived neuronal/glial culture. Any experience Schwann cells, myelination assays, or co-culture systems, and familiarity with advanced imaging or quantitative image analysis will be desirable for the role.
