About the role

The Data and Enquiries Manager will lead a small team responsible for delivering a high-quality enquiry service to prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students. The role requires expert knowledge of admissions and application processes, with responsibility for monitoring email and telephone responses to ensure accuracy, consistency, and excellent customer service. The postholder will plan and deliver recruitment activities such as call campaigns and events, including overseeing registration processes to ensure data is collected accurately, securely, and in line with GDPR requirements.

A key element of the role is the analysis of pre-applicant and applicant data from multiple systems, producing clear, insightful reports to support senior management decision-making and internal service improvement. The role is hands-on and operational as well as strategic, requiring the ability to manage people effectively while also contributing directly to front-line enquiry handling when required.

About you

You will be an experienced manager with strong data analysis skills and a commitment to high-quality customer service. You will have or be willing to develop expert knowledge of undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment and admissions processes and be confident in gathering and manipulting data from multiple systems to produce clear insights for decision-making. Organised and detail-focused, you will work confidently within GDPR requirements and support your team while also being willing to handle enquiries directly when needed.
