An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate to join Norwich Medical School to support a programme of research on sedation from antipsychotics, funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research.

This programme aims to understand more about sedation from antipsychotics in psychosis and its impacts on patients, including developing improved measurement of sedation, with the aim of improving patient outcomes in NHS services.

You will support activity across the proposed programme of research, including with recruitment of clinical participants (working with NHS colleagues and wider networks), consent and data collection, input into analysis and write up, administration of project meetings, and dissemination of research findings.

This research will involve working closely and collaboratively with NHS mental health services, particularly in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT), which is jointly hosting the project.
