About the Role
This post entails teaching undergraduate and postgraduate modules in public policy to a diverse cohort of domestic and international students. It requires you to participate in the formation and delivery of the School’s educational policies.
About You
You will have a PhD in Politics/ International Relations or equivalent with expertise in Public Policy. Knowledge of quantitative methods is desirable. You will have teaching experience and commitment to high-quality teaching in Higher Education (HE).

SPIR is one of the UK’s leading centres for the research and teaching of Politics and International Relations. It was ranked 7th overall among UK higher education institutions in the 2022 REF. The School is home to 70 academic staff and a highly diverse cohort of students and offers a broad-ranging and methodologically plural curriculum.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus It is a full-time, fixed-term appointment for one year, with an expected start date of 1st September 2026. The salary will be Grade 5, £51,755 per annum, inclusive of London allowance. (Please note negotiation outside of this salary is not possible).
