About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Research Programme Manager to join the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (FMD). You will play a key role in driving the FMDs Research communications workstream and support WIPH pre‑costing activity. Alongside this, you will also contribute to a broad range of research-support functions which may research induction, proposal development, postgraduate research support, research communication, performance evaluation, REF and other national assessment exercises, and thematic research‑strategy development. Working closely with senior academic colleagues, investigators, project partners, and central professional‑services teams, you will ensure effective programme coordination. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of communications and structured SharePoint or web‑based resources — to enhance researcher engagement and increase visibility of Faculty activities

Excellent communication skills are essential, including the ability to convey complex information clearly to a range of audiences and develop effective working relationships with academic, professional‑services, and external partners. You will be confident using digital tools such as Microsoft Office and online collaboration platforms.
