This post is part time (15 hours per week) and fixed term for up to 3 months (with an anticipated start date of early March 2026).
We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant to contribute to a ‘UK Devolved Elections 2026’ project working with CPP Director and Co-Director.
The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
Candidates should hold an SCQF Level 10 qualification (Honours degree) in a social science discipline, or possess specialist theoretical or practical knowledge of Scottish elections, devolution, or public policy. Final‑year students with relevant knowledge in these areas will also be considered. All applicants should demonstrate research‑based understanding of Scottish devolution, public policy, and/or elections.
