About the Role

As Lecturer in Lecturer in Nurse Education (Mental Health) you will be required to make a significant contribution to the delivery of relevant modules and other areas of our core curriculum, including simulated practice learning, depending on your areas of expertise and experience.

The role involves delivering high-quality, evidence-based teaching and assessment across the Mental Health Nursing programme, using inclusive and innovative learning approaches aligned with current practice and regulatory standards. You will be expected to provide academic, pastoral and practice-based support to students, ensuring their progression, wellbeing and professional development in line with NMC requirements.

The post also contributes to curriculum development, quality enhancement and scholarly activity, while working collaboratively with practice partners to support placements, workforce development and clinical academic links.

You will be expected to contribute to the research activities of one of our Research Units and meet the qualitative and qualitative requirements for submission to the next Research Excellence exercise.
