The role
The Events Team within the Catering & Event Services Department uphold the core objective of driving revenue generation through the promotion and sale of conference, wedding, catering, and group accommodation facilities. This role will work as part of a high-performing team delivering excellent customer service and experiences.
What will you be doing?
The role has a primary responsibility of managing the customer journey from initial enquiry through to operation, by serving as the key point of contact for the letting of venues, event spaces, meeting rooms and summer accommodation. The role also has a specific responsibility for weddings and special events. The role holder will manage enquiries, allocation of spaces and accommodation as well as the event management of client bookings, including the delegation of bookings to the operations team and operational management of weddings.
You should apply if
You have proven experience of working in an income generating events venue in a coordination role, with experience of weddings and special events. You are also required to have excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues alike, and your organisational and attention to detail skills should be second to none.

Hybrid working is available with 1-2 days per week at home, depending on business needs.
