About the Role
This role is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of marketing and communication channels for the School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences. Main responsibilities include looking after the School’s website, social media, email marketing and printed marketing collateral. You will help to raise the School’s profile, provide expert communications advice, support student and staff recruitment activities and contribute to alumni development.
The post holder will contribute to the overall School and Queen Mary market presence, in line with our objectives and vision, strengthening the School and QMUL brand to ensure a consistent, first-rate user experience.
This role is also required to work collaboratively with the Directorate of Marketing and Communications and those in other academic departments across QMUL to share insights and develop joint initiatives.
About You
You will have experience in marketing or communications, enjoy cross-function and collaborative working and working with multiple stakeholders. We are also looking for someone who will have experience of and enjoy working across all channels within the full marketing mix, and will obtain good communication skills across all channels and with all stakeholders. You should also have experience of a CRM system and creating emails that have impact.
About the School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences
The School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences is one of five Schools within the Faculty of Science and Engineering. It is a large and dynamic School with strong links to industry. We offer a stimulating and supportive learning experience.
