Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Head of Post Award Research Services within UCD Research and Innovation

University College Dublin (UCD) seeks to appoint a senior leader to provide strategic direction and management of the UCD’s researcher centric post award research services. This newly designed role is a core component of UCD’s strategic priority of delivering a Research Integrated Service (RIS). The post holder will lead the design, development and delivery of a high-quality post award service that contributes to a seamless, end to end experience across the full research lifecycle. The role directly supports UCD’s strategic objective of improving the researcher experience by making it easier to undertake excellent research.

The role requires an experienced leader with deep knowledge of research services, a strong track record of delivery, and the proven ability to build, lead and motivate high performing teams capable of delivering service transformation. A collaborative leadership style is essential, with the capacity to work across organisational boundaries and bring diverse groups together to achieve shared goals.

95 Senior Administrative Officer III_2010 Salary Scale: €92,195 - €130,201 per annum.

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
