About the role
We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) professional, with experience of project management to join our team in the role of Faculty Manager for People & Culture in the Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine (FoLSM), King’s College London. The role holder will provide operational leadership and influence strategic direction in the areas of EDI, learning and development (L&D) and organisational change within our large and complex Faculty.
Working closely with the Faculty’s Vice Dean for People and Culture, the role holder will be responsible for the development and delivery of strategic initiatives that distinguish the Faculty as an innovative thought leader within the areas of EDI, L&D and organisational change. As well as ensuring ongoing delivery and continued development Faculty People & Culture events and communications, the role holder will overseeing business-as-usual activities, manage the Faculty People & Culture budget and manage junior colleague(s) working in the area of People and Culture.
They will collaborate closely with Faculty colleagues, as well as with King’s Organisational Development and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Teams, to deliver outputs and outcomes in the areas of EDI, L&D and organisational change within FoLSM to ensure the Faculty continues to build on its successful track record and ambitious agenda.
This is a full-time post for maternity leave cover, and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 31 May 2027. Applications on a secondment basis from elsewhere in King’s are welcome.
