About the role
A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Research Midwife or Nurse to join the Women’s Health Research Centre (WHRC) team.
At the current time, the Women’s Health Research Centre is looking to appoint a Senior Research Midwife / Nurse who will lead on a new phase II multicentre study trialling a treatment for Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy. They will work on the project from set up, obtaining appropriate regulatory approvals, in collaboration with the Chief Investigator and wider team and ensure ongoing protocol compliance. The postholder will ensure the trial is developed and conducted to the highest scientific and regulatory standards.
What you would be doing
The postholder will undertake recruitment at Imperial College London/Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and monitor the quality of data collected. They will also act as the link coordinator for other sites, providing support with recruitment and answering questions related to the study. They will work in close collaboration with all clinical trial sites and hospitals taking part in the study, as well as working closely with the study's Senior Clinical Trial Coordinator.
The Senior Research Midwife / Nurse will be a member of the Women’s Health Research Centre team and will help support the overall running of WHRC providing cross-cover support as needed. They may be expected to carry out other duties under the overall direction of the line manager and may have the opportunity to work on the wider portfolio of studies.
