The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is one of the world’s leading public health universities. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to support Principal Investigators (PIs), project co-leads, and partner organisations based overseas with high-level project coordination and financial management.
The post-holder will be responsible for supporting several projects funded by both UK and overseas funders, providing efficient administrative, logistical, and financial support.
Applicants must possess substantial experience of providing proactive administrative support of academic / global health research and of managing large complex grants with multiple partners across multiple countries, as well as experience in compiling regular funder reports. Applicants must have higher education to degree level or equivalent or substantial relevant experience and ideally have certified training in high-level project coordination/management.
The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1.0 FTE and fixed term for 12 months.
The post is funded by the Medical Research Council and the Faculty and is available immediately.
The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, Grade 5 in the range £39,984 - £45,728 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at LSHTM.
