History of Art at the University of Glasgow is seeking to appoint a full-time (open-ended) Lecturer in Visual and Material Cultures (Research & Teaching Track), with a specialism in histories of dress, textiles, or related decorative arts.
The vacancy is available at either Lecturer Grade 7 or Lecturer Grade 8 Level.
The postholder at Grade 7 will undertake research of international excellence and contribute to knowledge exchange activities relative to the discipline, contribute to learning and teaching on agreed programmes, including History of Art programmes and the MLitt Dress and Textile Histories, and undertake administration and service activities in line with the School/College’s strategic objectives.
For appointment at Grade 8, the postholder will develop, lead and sustain research and scholarship of international standard and contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by delivering, organising and reviewing agreed teaching, assessment and administration processes to enhance learning and teaching in the School of Culture & Creative Arts.
The appointment is full-time (35 hours per week) and open-ended.
