The Department
The Finance Department supports the University’s strategy to enhance the student experience by delivering financial sustainability through financial leadership, strategic planning and informed procurement. We ensure the long-term financial sustainably of UWL, maximising efficiency and effectiveness of available resources. The Role
Responsibility to the Income Manager for the prompt collection of Student tuition fee SLC / Commercial debt within budgeted time scales.
Maintenance of the ledgers/ student records, ensuring that all credit control processes and procedures are adhered to.
To support the credit control function in the prompt collection of debt.
To provide advice and guidance to students and staff regarding the financial regulations.
The Person
We are looking for an experienced individual who is educated to degree level or equivalent.
The successful candidate must possess knowledge of financial systems and other higher education account systems, have knowledge of SITS system, and boast great attention to detail and multi-tasking.
