We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance and Funding Officer (Course Data) to join the Student Finance Office and work closely with multiple service teams. The Student Finance Office (SFO) is responsible for all areas of student finance and funding, including fee invoicing, reporting, collection, as well as advice and guidance. The Student Records Team also sit within the SFO and is responsible for the maintenance of the student record database and statutory reporting requirements for Student Finance England.
The Finance and Funding Officer (Course Data) will take responsibility for the accurate recording of the university’s course revision within the student loans company Course Management Service, and will be the primary contact responsible for the interpretation and application of UK funding rules and regulations, incorporating the introduction of the Lifelong Learning Entitlement.
You will have a degree-level qualification or significant equivalent work experience, together with a broad knowledge and understanding of the Higher Education sector, including (but not limited to) student records systems, funding and finance regulations, and previous work in a regulatory and/or educational environment.
