The Role
Kingston University is the UK’s leading university for Future Skills. Through our progressive new model of education, we are ensuring all our students are prepared for career success. Our visionary Town House Strategy is underpinned by our expertise in Future Skills education and commitment to driving advances in research and knowledge exchange.
We are proud to be one of just 26 institutions nationally to hold three gold ratings in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), and to be consistently recognised in the Guardian University Guide for outstanding performance across multiple disciplines. Our inclusive and forward-thinking educational model is designed to enhance life chances and ensure our graduates and staff are known for their knowledge, skills and innovation.
As society continues to evolve at pace, so do the expectations of employers, who increasingly seek graduates who are digitally fluent, adaptable and ready to solve the complex challenges of tomorrow. Our Town House Strategy ensures every Kingston student develops these essential Future Skills, while our research, innovation and external partnerships create real impact regionally, nationally, and globally.
The Person
We are now seeking an ambitious and visionary Director of Data Compliance and Evaluation. This is a pivotal leadership role that ensures Kingston University fulfils its statutory responsibilities, enhances the quality and integrity of its data, and drives institution-wide insight. Reporting to the University Secretary, you will lead a talented multidisciplinary team spanning statutory data returns, institutional performance and the student voice.
Working collaboratively across the University, you will ensure the accurate and timely delivery of statutory data, the effective use of analytics to support decision-making and a coherent, institution-wide approach to understanding and action up student data and insight.
This is an exciting opportunity to design and deliver a more integrated, collaborative operating model— one that empowers colleagues, sharpens focus, and supports confident, evidence-based decisions. You will steer how data insight is crafted and communicated, ensuring leaders have clear, accessible intelligence that drives progress and amplifies Kingston’s external standing.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Executive, you will contribute to shaping policy, guiding institutional performance, and help ensure the factors underpinning an exceptional student experience are understood, championed, and acted upon. This is your opportunity to join an ambitious, inclusive, innovative, and enterprising university—one committed to shaping a brighter, more skilled future for all.
