Digital & Technology
Digital & Technology Services (D&T) supports business operations and teaching at DMU, partnering with Faculties and Directorates to maintain core infrastructure and deliver strategic IT projects.
Role
As Digital Change Lead, you will provide expert guidance to support the seamless adoption of new & enhanced digital technologies and services across DMU. You will lead the Digital Change Team within a user-led product model, developing safe, effective and efficient digital ways of working throughout the University. You will support & develop the technical capability of university staff in line with the Digital Transformation Strategy and work collaboratively with D&T colleagues and key stakeholders.
Using best-practice change management, training & technical capability development, you will support programme delivery and enable the adoption of new or improved ways of working. In line with the University’s digital ambitions, you will help drive continuous improvement in digital culture to ensure change is fully adopted.
Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a confident, collaborative and strategic leader educated to degree level (or with equivalent experience) & holding a formal change management qualification or comparable practical expertise. You will bring experience embedding digital systems and services within large digital transformation portfolios and complex project environments, alongside strong leadership across direct and matrix teams. With excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, you will understand how people experience change and support successful adoption. Experience within the Higher Education sector, training, mentoring, coaching and digital capability development, are advantageous. You will be able to translate business needs into practical, people-focused digital solutions while balancing strategic thinking with effective operational delivery.
