The Department of Computing is a well-established and dynamic area within Roehampton University and is making a reputation for itself in delivering outstanding education and research. We have experienced extremely strong growth across all areas of our educational portfolio. We deliver programmes and are experienced researchers across the breadth of Computing, including in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science and Games Programming. We have grown due to doing things differently, priding ourselves in an innovative mindset. We continuously drive forward new ideas and are looking to grow even further with a range of new future courses planned.

The Role

We are now recruiting for a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security to join our collaborative and growing team. This is an opportune time to join as the department expands its teaching portfolio and aims to strengthen its connections with industry partners.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Computing / Cyber Security
  • Contributing to curriculum development and programme administration
  • Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate student projects, including industry-linked placements and projects
  • Developing and maintaining partnerships with industry to support knowledge transfer activities

The successful candidate will have skills and experience in:

  • Cyber Security or closely related disciplines
  • A plan for engagement with industry or knowledge transfer activities
  • Experience of teaching and assessment in higher education
  • Effective communication and the ability to build productive relationships with external stakeholders

These are teaching focused roles.
