The Senior Impact Manager is an exciting new position which will play a key role within the Faculty Research Team to provide high quality operational and strategic support across the SSPP Faculty. As the Senior Impact Manager you’ll play a key part in supporting our research impact activity including preparations for our REF29 submission.
About the role
King’s College London offers an exciting opportunity to work across our large Social Sciences and Public Policy Faculty to support, champion and promote impactful research and to deliver a REF submission of the highest quality. The Senior Impact Manager will lead on the development and communication of impact outcomes, showcasing impact stories and, for REF, on sourcing and analysing evidence of research impact, developing engaging case studies of optimal quality that highlight the impact of SSPP’s research.
Inherently inter-disciplinary, tasks will include managing cross- and inter-Faculty projects, supporting governance activities, and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. Research excellence and impact experience in a research-intensive environment, together with keen attention to detail are key to success. The postholder will need excellent project management skills, extensive experience in stakeholder management alongside an ability to communicate findings to diverse audiences.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract. Professional services are currently working hybrid and there’s an expectation that you will be on campus at least two days a week, being flexible with business need.
