Lincoln College invites applications for a 8-hour Stipendiary Lectureship in French literature, starting 1 September 2026, to cover short-term teaching needs in the subject. The post is available from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027 and is not renewable.
Under the direction of the Senior Subject Tutor, the postholder will deliver high-quality tutorials in French language and literature across Prelims and FHS papers during Full Term (up to eight contact hours per week, including preparation and marking). The role includes organising and coordinating teaching for Modern Languages students, monitoring academic progress and welfare, setting and marking Collections, and submitting timely reports via the College’s online system. The postholder will contribute to admissions and access activities, attend student progress meetings and selected College events, liaise with colleagues on academic and pastoral matters, and support the development of teaching and library resources.
The salary offered is in the range of £33,810 - £37,338 per annum, according to experience.
