We are looking to recruit a part-time (0.8 FTE) Teaching Fellow within the Department of Mental Health and Wellbeing.
This is a fixed term, 12 months maternity cover post.
The Department of Mental Health and Wellbeing, offers a range of accredited undergraduate and postgraduate courses and programmes that are highly attractive to students, including a Doctorate in Counselling, Two Masters in Counselling (Person-centred and Pluralistic), PGCert in Supervision, PGCert in Counselling for Children and Young People, a Masters in Mindfulness and an MSci Counselling, Psychology and Education, sitting alongside range of undergraduate-level courses. Our progammes are both highly respected with appropriate professional body validation, accreditation and partnership endorsement. We are seeking to build on this strong foundation through the appointment of a Teaching Fellow with expertise and experience in Counselling to support the growth of the MSc and Doctoral programmes.
The department hosts a counselling research centre on the university’s King’s College campus. In addition to its goal of underpinning practice with research, the centre provides a free counselling service to the community locally and regionally.
The successful candidate will join an exciting, collegial, and expanding, department that is seeking to grow its scholarship activity.
Salary will be at Grade 6, £38,784 per annum, pro rata for 0.8 FTE, actual rate of pay £31,027.20 per annum.
