Are you interested in joining one of the top Universities in Greater Manchester for student experience?
Here at the University of Greater Manchester, we are proud of our growing reputation as a student-focused University. With our strategy of “Teaching Intensive, Research Informed Assessment Enabled”, we are committed to offering our students the best experience possible.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual who will work well in a busy and varied Academic Fees and Invoicing Team, within the Finance Department.
This position is well suited to an organised and dependable individual who is confident in large spreadsheet analysis and comfortable handling a variety of administrative tasks.
As a member of the Academic Fees team, you will work closely with academic and professional colleagues across the University to play an important part in maintaining compliance with financial and regulatory requirements, supporting data integrity across multiple systems, and providing expert advice to staff, students, and external partners on fee-related matters.
You need to be someone who can work as part of a team as well as be self-motivated and able to manage your own workload. Strong attention to detail and confidence in using complex spreadsheets and the ability to analyse large quantities of data. Experience using Access databases and Power BI would be advantageous.
We ask a lot from our staff, but in return, you will receive a competitive benefits package, including access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, an employee benefits scheme and generous annual leave entitlement.
As a small University, you will have opportunities to work with colleagues across the campus to support and deliver the best student experience possible.
Successful applicants will be required to prove their right to work in the UK prior to the commencement of their employment.
Whilst the University of Greater Manchester is a licensed sponsor, under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) not all roles are eligible for visa sponsorship.
This position may not meet the criteria for a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
Eligibility will be assessed in line with the Home Office requirements at the time of making the offer.
