As Content Marketing Manager, you will help drive the strategy, production, delivery, and performance of impactful content that promotes Imperial College Business School. The role manages the creation and distribution of marketing content to attract and engage with our key audiences including prospective students around the world. The post supports the Business School’s strategic marketing objectives by driving awareness, engagement, and interest in its programmes, initiatives, and overall brand.

What you would be doing:

  • Manage a team to develop, implement, and review the effectiveness of multi-channel content marketing for the Business School, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality content (including blogs, videos, photography and student generated content) to be used in multi-channel marketing campaigns that enhances the School’s brand and reputation.
  • Manage distribution of content via key marketing channels such as the website, email marketing and third-party advertising.
  • Analyse, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of content marketing activity, utilising marketing analytics.
  • Work with key stakeholders across the Business School to identify opportunities and generate content ideas that drive engagement with key audiences, including prospective students, corporate partners, and alumni.
  • Benchmark the School’s content marketing against peer institutions, identifying best practices and opportunities for innovation
  • Manage, develop and motivate a high-performing team.

What we are looking for:

  • Significant experience leading, delivering and evaluating content-led marketing and communication strategies
  • Experience managing digital content production, including copywriting, photography and video content

  • Experience of monitoring and marketing analytics tools/software
  • Experience providing editorial direction to digital content contributors
  • Experience developing and line managing a team
  • Experience providing editorial direction to digital content contributors
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused sector, ideally higher education experience.
  • Experience working in a large, complex organisation and building relationships to achieve work goals
  • Experience working within a set of brand messages and identity guidelines
  • Experience using a CMS (Drupal preferred), marketing automation, and marketing analytics tools
  • Experience managing user generated content marketing campaigns.

Further Information

This role is a Full-time, fixed term maternity cover contract for up to 12 months.

This is a temporary appointment to cover the duties of a member of staff whilst they are on maternity leave. The fixed term tenure given above may change should the member of staff exercise their right to return to work earlier or delay their return to work.
