An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Associate Lecturer to join the Practice Learning team in the Department of Health Sciences, with a primary focus on midwifery. The Practice Learning Team provides a link between midwifery and nursing students, the University, and staff in practice placement settings to ensure students have support with any practice-learning related issues or concerns. The focus of the Associate Lecturer role is to support students, practice supervisors, and assessors to promote and enhance teaching, learning and assessment in a range of clinical practice settings across our locality. In addition, the role will involve contributions to the learning, teaching and assessment of clinical skills in our pre-registration midwifery and nursing programmes. The successful applicant may also have the opportunity to contribute to our continuing professional development programmes at undergraduate and/or post-graduate levels.
This is a part time (0.4fte) 12 month fixed term role. Secondments can be considered.
