About the Role
Are you an experienced education specialist passionate about supporting and empowering educators in higher education to improve learners’ experience and outcomes? If you are ready for an exciting next step, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on teaching and learning at Queen Mary University of London.
In this role, based within the Queen Mary Academy, you will play a central part in delivering our university-wide academic development portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Education Programmes, you will lead and contribute to the delivery of the Certificate in Learning and Teaching (CILT) and the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP). You will support curriculum enhancement across the university through workshops, online resources, and tailored consultative support for Schools and Institutes.
This position contributes to institution-wide academic development and professional recognition initiatives, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact on teaching and learning at Queen Mary.
About You
You will have experience in higher education teaching and academic development including designing, delivering and evaluating programmes for adult learners. You are an effective facilitator, confident providing constructive feedback and supporting professional growth.
You bring skills in curriculum design, blended and online learning, assessment, and have strong knowledge of the UK HE context and PSF2023. You are highly organised, detail focused and able to coordinate multiple workstreams. Strong communication, collaborative working and the ability to create high quality digital and in person learning resources are essential.
A proactive, collegial mindset and the ability to inspire learners are key.
