ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Research Fellow (Postdoctoral Scholar) to join the European Research Council-funded project Markets and Mobility: How Employers Structure Economic Opportunity (MaMo). The project uses administrative data, digital trace data, and cross-national surveys to examine how intergenerational persistence in economic status is reproduced through labour market processes.

Start date is flexible within the next 12 months and appointment is available for 1 year in the first instance with possibility of renewal for another year. Visas for international applicants will be sponsored.

ABOUT YOU

You will have a PhD in sociology or a closely related discipline, strong quantitative training, an existing research agenda on labour market inequality and economic mobility, knowledge of sociological theory, and an interest in contributing to sociology as a discipline.
