We are looking for an ambitious academic practitioner/ researcher to lead the BA Fashion Communication team to deliver our unique and highly successful course.
As Course Leader you will provide a highly stimulating and nurturing environment for students and colleagues alike. You will be responsible for assuring the academic standards of the course and its delivery through your academic leadership and the effective management of resources.
You will shape the design, development and future of the BA Fashion Communication curriculum and play a significant role in the Fashion Programme and M School teams. You will build on the international reputation of the course and enhance professional, academic and research partnerships to ensure that the course continues to anticipate the changing needs of the global fashion industry, commerce and society.
About you
As a sophisticated and innovative fashion communicator, researcher and academic, you’ll be regarded as a leading authority within your own area. You will have an in depth understanding and personal experience of the relationship of fashion education with the fashion industry, both nationally and internationally.
As an experienced, creative and highly motivated academic, with an inventive approach to the enlivenment of students’ learning experience and high aspirations for their achievement, you’ll be able to take up the challenges of enabling diverse student cohorts to explore the discipline of Fashion Communication at Central Saint Martins, and foster new approaches to communication, design and research. Previous experience of delivering a fashion communication undergraduate degree course is essential.
