We are looking for a Content Creation Officer with great all-round content creation skills to encourage prospective students to join our university and engage our community with all that’s happening at Birmingham Newman.

Short summary of job details
The post of Content Creation Officer will see you creating videos, photography, designs and captions to excite and inform potential and current students, staff and partners. You’ll film and edit short videos; you’ll capture behind-the-scenes moments; you’ll spot trends and you’ll be adept at jumping on them too!
The successful candidate will need to balance a varied workload and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. They will also understand what does and doesn’t work on social media and have new ideas up their sleeve at all times! Being creative will be a must, as will working closely with your marketing and communications teammates in the Directorate for Student Recruitment, Marketing and Recruitment.
Essential criteria
Educated to a degree level standard, or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related. field Proven experience in creating content for digital platforms (web, social media, CRM). Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Experience in writing, editing, and storytelling for diverse audiences.
