We are seeking an ambitious and intellectually driven post-doctoral researcher to join our dynamic cancer research team at the University of Liverpool.
Our research programme investigates how interactions between cancer cells and the immune system shape tumour progression, metastatic dissemination, and therapeutic response. This role is ideally suited to a researcher who is ready to drive forward high-impact translational research.
As a post-doctoral researcher, you will lead the experimental direction of your project, working both independently and collaboratively across the group. You will play a central role in shaping ongoing research, contributing to study design, data interpretation, and dissemination, while supporting and mentoring junior members of the lab.
You will have access to advanced technologies, including pre-clinical tumour models and patient-derived samples, and will contribute directly to research with clear clinical relevance and impact.

If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30. Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
