The teaching emphasis is on the development of relevant skills through the use of industry standard practices and has recently steered toward more student-centred delivery and assessment methods and the integration of teaching and research. The assistant lecturer responsibilities will also extend to external engagement in general and collaboration with industry partners, government organisations, in the context of promotion, STEM outreach, programme development, work placement and applied research.
