About the role:
We are looking for a Research Associate who will join the European project DEMOQUAS to develop numerical and theoretical models of several engineering and physical problems, from high-level 0-dimensional system performance analyses, to detailed CFD simulations of the operation of individual components. The challenge will be to model uncertainty at any stage of the process.
What you would be doing:
You will be examining several aspects of systems and components used in hydrogen-fuelled aerial systems, modelling simultaneously their performance and the associated uncertainty. You will lead the project activities and work in close collaboration and synergy with the project partners.
What we are looking for:
Research Associate: Hold a PhD in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent research, industrial or commercial experience
Research Assistant: A first / masters degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline.
*Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as Research Assistant.
