Senior Trial Manager (ChariotMS)

About the Role

This post represents an ideal opportunity for a self-motivated, experienced Trial Manager/Senior Trial Manager to work in a multi-site CTIMP trial in a registered Clinical Trials Unit.

ChariotMS is a national (UK), multi-centre, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled (1:1) phase IIb efficacy trial with cost-utility analysis of cladribine tablets (3.5mg/kg over two years) in people with advance multiple sclerosis (EDSS 6.5-8.5). Is cladribine superior to placebo in protecting upper limb function?

About You

Previous research experience in multi-site Clinical Trials of an Investigational Medicinal Product (CTIMPs) involving NHS patients or research participants is essential.

About the School/Department/Institute/Project

The Wolfson Institute of Population Health (WIPH) is an exciting and dynamic environment, home to more than 450 staff, 100 PhD students and c500 postgraduate taught students. It harnesses expertise across a wide range of population-based research and education activities and aims to be an internationally recognised centre of excellence in population health, primary care and preventive medicine. The Institute is organised into six separate research centres which, though complementary and following the Institute strategic plan, also have Centre-specific objectives and requirements.

The post-holder will work in the Centre for Evaluation and Methods (CEM), a thriving centre that incorporates collaborative units who work to deliver outstanding research based on their combined and complementary strengths. The post-holder will contribute in particular to the Pragmatic Clinical Trials Unit (PCTU).
