Join a collaborative HR team at the heart of world-class medical research. 

The Department of Medicine is the largest department in the School of Clinical Medicine, supporting over 550 staff and students who deliver cutting-edge science and clinical innovation. 

We are looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to support the HR team with visitor processing visitor access requests and managing contact lists across the Department. This role plays an important part in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our visitors and colleagues, helping to create an environment where world class research can thrive.   

Reporting to one of the HR Coordinators, you will join a friendly team of five HR professionals. You will work closely with colleagues across the Department, as well as the wider University such as the Compliance team, contributing to an efficient and supportive service.   

Key responsibilities include: 

Acting as the first point of contact and managing the departmental visitor inbox. 

Processing visitor agreements and access requests in line with departmental procedures. 

Ensuring compliance for international visitors where required.   

Providing administrative support to the HR team during peak periods or staff absence. 

This is an excellent opportunity to build your HR and administrative experience within a supportive, collaborative and dynamic environment.  

This role is part-time at 0.6 FTE (21.9 hours per week) and offered on a 3-year fixed-term contract in the first instance, with flexibility around working patterns. 

The HR team operates a hybrid working model, with a minimum office presence of two days per week and additional flexibility by arrangement.
